Will My Insurance Cover the consultations ?
This depends entirely on your insurance system, you may need a referral to Professor Schulte from your GP.

Do you issue a report ?
Yes, you will receive a final report with a working diagnosis and a proposed treatment plan.

What conditions does the Review Clinic diagnose?
The Review Clinic is set up to achieve a viable diagnosis in any patient with
- unexplained symptoms
- an established diagnosis which may not fit all aspects
- a situation where multiple tests have not achieved a diagnosis

What conditions does the Review Clinic treat?
The key step is to identify treatment needs and establish a coherent treatment plan. As such we initiate pathways of treatment in all areas of Medicine and Surgery. Whilst we treat a large variety of conditions ourselves, we regularly involve experts in specific areas to ensure optimal treatment and dedicated follow-up using the full complement of subspecialist approaches.

Does the Review Clinic provide a second opinion?
We do provide a second opinion. This can be elicited by a patient or another doctor. If asked by a doctor we would generally not take on any treatment or follow-up unless the colleague explicitly wishes so.

Does the Review Clinic provide any free of cost service to patients without funding?
In particular cases we provide service without charging our fees. The patient will still have to pay for laboratory or imaging tests. We reserve the right to determine the merits of such an approach on a case by case basis and exclude any legal right of access.

Which Doctor will I see at the Review Clinic
Prof Schulte and Dr O Flynn see each patient in joint consultation. If you have a preference to consult just one of the doctors please advise when booking your appointment.
